We’re in the endgame now. The Premier League season has entered the final stretch with just eight or fewer games remaining for the majority of clubs. There’s a lot on the line at both ends of the table, as we know, and we’re bound to see plenty of twists and turns in the weeks to come. Today, we’ll be taking a look at what should be an intriguing clash between Fulham and Newcastle United.

Newcastle Form GuideWhile things are certainly moving in a positive direction for Newcastle United Football Club, things haven’t been smooth sailing for Eddie Howe’s men this season. They’re currently lingering around mid-table and while there’s still enthusiasm in the air regarding what the club can achieve in the future, there are are far more questions than answers right now.
Newcastle managed to defeat Wolves 3-0 before slipping to unfortunate losses against Chelsea and Manchester City in the league and cup. They rebounded with a memorable 4-3 comeback win over West Ham before being held to a 1-1 draw at home by Everton.
Match PredictionOur instinct here is that Newcastle will be able to edge out an important win away from home, but Fulham are more than capable of holding their own at Craven Cottage. We anticipate that this is going to be a really intense clash between the two sides, with our prediction being under 2.5 goals scored.
